Creation of this weblog has been on my todo list for a long time, but there was always something “more important” or I had some “good reason” to postpone it’s launch, for example: “We just don't have anything we can discuss about the new release at this point”, or “We don’t have enough content to launch”, or “Providing support at this point is more important than writing” or “I just need to work on this idea of mine, or world is going to end today and that will be the end of the mankind.”

But, here we are now - activeCollab 1.1 is around the corner, we really have a lot of things to show and discuss, so I present to you Developer Blog. On this little blog we will discuss upcoming features, ideas we are playing with, our thoughts on software development, productivity and related stuff while, at the same time, trying to skip stories about pets (I do have a gorgeous husky that I like to talk about) or what we had for dinner.

Hope you'll like this new blog. See you tomorrow with an article about one of the most requested features ever since activeCollab exists.

Cool! However, my RSS aggregator (Mail.app) doesn’t like the feed – says “unknown format.”

Thanks for letting us know, I’ll take a look when I get back to office (too lazy to upgrade my laptop to Leopard).

Where is the article about the most requested feature ever? I’m waiting for the permissions update before I can totally sell this to my company. Will that be included in the upcoming release?

Project templates are one of the most required features ever since activeCollab was launched ;-)

The inability of managers to view other members’ aggregated Task Lists is a big frustration for us. That would be my top priority, followed by drag and drop prioritization of task lists.
