import module - assignments not coming through

I imported a bunch of projects from AC 0.71 today, and when looking at them, the assignments did not come through properly. I have to manually go in and recreate assignments for milestones.

Were there any tricks to getting the importer module to install? I uploaded the files as explained but it doesn't appear in the list of available modules...?
My first attempt I was silly and uploaded the ZIP files... I didn't unpack the files and place those directories in the right areas. Check the install instructions carefully. Then you need to go to the modules, and it should show up as installable.

Hmm. I uploaded the files unzipped per directions. It still doesn't show up. I had some problems with the original install with paths that required support. Maybe this has something to do with that also...?

Import is updated. Now it moves permissions and assignments, but be gentle. These improvements add more database queries to the process.
