I find no easy way to organize or reorder check lists items or projects or much of anything. Am I missing something?
If a check list has:
Buy Bread.
Get gas in car.
Buy cheese.
Shouldnt I be able to put the order I want to do this stuff in?
In base camp this is drag and drop.

That helps a little. But not for Looooonnng checklists. Flagging with stars helps too. But nothing is a substitute for being able to reorder lists in any order you want. And naming tasks A1 B1 etc. gets very tedious.
Oh well. Consider it a feature request. :D

I agree. It's too easy to miss something just because you can't reorder any list. A reordering dropdown list like in the Assigment section would be great. Given it has the ability to "remember" the last ordering scheme chosen for each list.

Yeah. The more I work with the system the more, unfortunately, I feel this may be a deal breaker for me. (I'm on the trial right now.)
It goes to the way I do most of my PM work. In which I start off with a brain-dump of all the activity I know I have to do into a list. And THEN I sort and sequence it and define milestones etc. Right not it feels like I have to have a plan before I make a plan. And If I just stick in my first stab, then its way to much work to re-arrange later.
Just my 2cents.

@acuser90210 - Well said.
I was planning to upgrade but instead we're sticking with 0.7.1 for now and looking at options beyond aC for the future because we need tasks to be a place to quickly and easily collect all the little things on an ongoing basis, and then organize them.

+1 ... YES indeed. This is one of the features i feel is a must for quick and efficient task creation.

Making tasks is helpful in planning because it allows one to set the order of tasks. In other words, to create a linear checklist for a process where there are ordered steps. Priority does not provide this, and it would be misleading to apply it in such a fashion. When creating checklists, sometimes you discover a step you need to insert, or you realize that another order may be better. Being able to drag and drop to reorder would be essential.
For our group, it would be essential to be able to reorder tasks... I can't see our group sticking around without this.
