email notification when assigning people

When creating a new ticket I can select "notify assignees".
This is not availble when assigning a ticket.
Is this a problem with aC or am I doing anything wrong?

Hi,
Notify assignees option is available only when ticket is created, not when you are updating it. If you really need to notify people go to Manage Subscriptions page (available in Options dropdown on ticket details page), add people you want to notify and than post a comment on the ticket.
