Hello,
We just bought the Corporate version and installed it successfully thanks. Is it possible to install AC on one of our 'local' machines so we can use it as a training example for our staff prior to letting them loose on the official version?

Thanks

One copy on local machine for development and testing is perfectly fine.

Yes, agreed that this is helpful, particularly for staging upgrades to the production version of the activeCollab instance.
What needs to be set in config.php and the license.php file to allow this though?

Hi... finally got around to an attempt to set this up locally. I'd like to use my local network IP address but the installer gives an error "invalid base url". I got around this by using 'localhost:9001' but this means that non of my collegues can use activeCollab via my machine.

Can you suggest a way to get a local version running via an intrnal IP address?

Thanks

Just use localhost. When installer is done open config/config.php and change ROOT_URL value to value you need. Installer URL checker is too restrictive at the moment...

Glad to hear that everything is up and running.

It's still good to have a solution posted in case someone stumbles upon the same problem until we patch the checker to be less selective :)

Happy New Year! :)
