What's coming in activeCollab 1.1

I know it's holiday season. But it seems it has been a while since the last 1.0.4 update. There are much bugs to be ironed out and improved, am keen to know when will be the next scheduled update?

Next update with new features is scheduled for the end of first quarter of 2008 with couple of beta and RC versions in between. It will be called v1.1 and we are concentrating on:
1. Localization (a lot of people are waiting to introduce their clients with activeCollab in their native language)
2. Better permissions
3. Automation (for commonly used checklists, milestone sets etc)
4. Better time tracking
5. Printing and exporting data from activeCollab
6. Many more minor tweaks and improvements all over the system (notes field for milestones, search through projects, users and inside of project, that sort of stuff ;) ).
We might also release v1.0.5 in the meantime that patches some bugs, but without any new features.
This is just a little status update and we'll talk about all of the listed features in more details in the upcoming weeks so stay tuned. Lock in the meantime ;)

Now it's official, project templates are coming in activeCollab v1.1.

In activeCollab 1.1 you'll be able to see when was the last time a person accessed the system. Great for spotting when someone missed their welcome email or a notification.
