I'm new to ActiveCollab and I'm not sure about how the licensing works so this may be an easy issue to address.
The problem is that ActiveCollab is currently installed on a Mac OS X machine that wasn't ever properly set up and is going to be decommissioned and ActiveCollab is going to be moved to a Windows server.
Is there any way to bring AC up on the Windows box to test import the data before we unhook the Mac?
The domain is going to remain the same, the only difference will be the box hosting the site.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have the guide bookmarked and it looks easy enough. It's just the first step that I wasn't sure about.
I haven't installed ActiveCollab on any machine yet, I got brought in after it was already up and running. I didn't understand what the licensing meant as far as requesting a new license.
Would I still need to do that if I were bringing up a server with the same information (although to start out, it might not be using the same exact address for the sake of keeping the current one running as long as possible)?
