I created a new project, P1 and added 3 users A , B & C under it. A is the leader of the project. Being the Project Manager for the project P1, only A should be able to see the time logs for all the users. But even B & C are also able to view the time logs for all the users, which I think is not good. Any inputs on these?

Also, is there a way to set permissions for the users added to project? Right now the setting up the permissions manually is possible only if the new user is a member of a client company.

Thanks

You can control who can add and edit time records, but everyone involved with the project will be able to view and access time tab. We are working on a more advanced permission system, but in the meantime you can check this and this hack.

Members of owner company have all the permissions in project they are working on.

Thanks Ilija.

I will try out the hack for now.

A small doubt though, if I upgrade to 1.0.6 , will the hack still work or Do I have to do it all over again? I guess I will try upgrading and check out the results.

Hacks usually don't "survive" updates. First upgrade and then follow the instructions provided in these messages.

I have to second that request. I think time reports should be kept much more secret. Client company users should only be able to see their own time records, not even that of their colleagues.
