I really wish I could purchase this softare!

Unfortunately, the eCommerce has been outsourced to Plimus. Online ordering does not work. Phone ordering does not work. Perhaps it could if I could actually get through, but the automated call system never gets me any satisfaction. I would try the old fashioned way -- using a purchase order -- but my client wants to start development immediately.

We're glad you are interested in activeCollab and that managed to get it.
What was the problem then? Plimus was down?

Hey Rootiq: quick question to You, how did You get thru to Plimus? Any others who know a solution with Plimus?
I'm trying to purchase ActiveCollab, however, the payment processing company ActiveCollab is using - Plimus - rejects all the payments e-mailing me: "Inconsistent contact / billing information". Alright, so I tried another card from different bank. Same answer. And the third - same answer again. So I checked with my banks and the cards were fine. Maybe they just have troubles with the US credit cards?
Then I chose to pay with PayPal - to which got e-mail form Plimus to "confirm order" by selecting a link in their e-mail. Ok, done.
Then got e-mail to confirm my phone number. Alright. Done.
Then got e-mail that they had been unable to call me. Nobody had called. Rechecked the number at Plimus - it was correct. Another e-mail from Plimus - cannot call me. Nope - no calls from Plimus, no messages left on the answering machine.
Now the not so nice part: I checked Plimus' background. They seem to be some folks in Ukraine and I'm not really happy I've provided them data on my three credit cards. Besides googleing them seems it's not just a lonely problem, but more widespread.
At least they finally refunded the PayPal payment, but still I wish to purchase the software. How? ActiveCollab just answered that they will not accept a check nor a bank transfer: "Sorry, we accept payments only through Plimus. They haven't replied to my email yet... I'll let you know when they do."

I had the exact same problem (+ Plimus server went down for several hours), which was very frustrating.
a51 could consider switching to a more reliable partner...
Meanwhile, you should try making the phone order, which will have a customer representative guide you through the process.
This is the answer I got from Plimus:
----
Hello,
please place the order online and choose "phone order" as the method of
payment. You will be prompted with a phone number to call where a customer
support representative will attempt to process the order while on the phone
with you.

If that shouldn't work and you own a company, I'm sure aC can just invoice you and send the software when payment arrives.
By the way: a Ukrainian company is as good as a United States one... it's called a globalized economy. fyi: a51 is from Serbia and I find they're top-notch.
