Can I provide ActiveCollab as a hosted service after buying the Enterprise version?
Page: 1
Hello,
Couple of my clients are looking at project management solution and I found activecollab quite useful.
I was wondering if I can provide this as a hosted service. i am ready to buy the enterprise version.
Couple of questions:
1. Do I have to buy more licenses for each client I acquire? (Or would one enterprise license be sufficient)
2. Do I have to mention activeCollab (meaning, can I rebrand the product and provide it as a service)
Regards,
Laks.

Hi,
You can provide hosting, but you'll need a license for every single instance you run (single URL - subfolder, subdomain, however you set it up). You can remove "activeCollab powered" graphic from the footer by purchasing Copyright Removal license (additional $200 per every instance) and you can change look and feel of the application by creating a theme.
Basically, you can host it for other people but you cannot create a new product from our product - it still needs to be activeCollab and all the rules defined in activeCollab license apply to it.
