Leon:It's great to see the roll out of beta's for 1.1 - there's been a beta release every week since the first (beta1 3rd april, beta2 6th april, and beta3 14th april..) ... now I'm no man of science, but if there's any science behind these release dates, aC 1.1 stable should be available sometime this weekend or next week... I just can't wait!!! :) (sorry for speculating) ;) really looking forward to it.
Ah, but you see, RCs come out before final ;) Assuming that Ilija chooses to go that route, we will proabably see RC1 and RC2.
Beta3 is already pretty impressive, I have little doubt if there is a RC, there won't be that many... but we shall see !
The best way to predict the future is to invent it

Hi Ilja!
I can't wait to purchase the final RC, do you have more insights on the release date now that your at a 3rd beta version?

noooo.. damn you andrewCharron for mentioning RC's... *jokes*
well it looks like the stable version could be a couple weeks away minimum.
I don't think I can wait that long.. I'm seriously considering upgrading to aC 1.1 b3. Can someone remind me what the known bugs are in this version please?

I'm using 1.1 b3 in production fine. No problems whatsoever. Just don't tell Ilija.

Leon,
I upgraded to b3 some time ago when it came out and began translating to German. I noticed that not all strings you can translate are actually used in the GUI but I think this is a low-priority "cosmetic bug" at the moment. Haven't noticed any other serious problems so far within the last week of exessive use. Do a backup and give it a try. With b3 / 1.1 in general aC is a killer app.
L18N needs some finetuning but everything else does its job. There was a problem with some persons not having a role id set, but a quick mail to support and some manual updates to the users database table solved it in a minute.
So, b3 seems pretty stable to me.

Hi all - just thought I mention that I've upgraded to aC 1.1 b3 successfully.
A couple of notes from the experience:
- after following the upgrade process and uploading the new files, I visited my site root and got the message 'delete upgrade directory or click upgrade here for upgrade' however the link to the upgrade was '/upgrade' when it should have been '/public/upgrade'
- i seem to have lost the project icons I've added? They are now set to the default pencil and ruler. (my uploaded icons for people/users is not affected)
- public ticket module looks great! BUT doesn't really work for me. Captcha image is not displaying and for some reason the page (myurl.com/submit) will only display if i'm logged in, otherwise it takes me to login screen (login?re_route=public_submit) and once logged in goes to public ticket submit page... so not really a 'public ticket' in that sense.
And what does the twitter functionality do? I have the module enabled but can't see anything different.
