Hi,
Got quite a few questions on activeCollab before making a decision about purchasing (why is there no feature list on the website, or am I just not spotting it?). So here we go:
1) Permissions - what level do they go to? I need to have several clients and be able to allow certain users access to certain projects/to-do lists/files.
2) Is there a maximum file size uploadable? I presume not as we get the source code but need that confirmed.ipconfgkp
3) Customisation - I assume that once the source code is purchased we can re-skin/re-brand and change functionality in the classes?
There will probably be a few more questions in time as there really isn't enough information provided to make a decision on purchasing.
Thanks.

Hi Ralph,
1. In activeCollab you can set roles to members of your company. Based on role person has permissions on projects and access to certain sections (administration for instance). Regarding clients you can control if client can add / manage objects in specific sections (discussions, files, tickets...)
Please note that in activeCollab 1.1 (currently in beta) we changed permissions completely and made them really powerful. Even though permissions might look a bit limiting in v1.0.6 in v1.1 you'll be able to configure almost any setup you wish.
2. Yes, there is but it is enforced with your PHP setup, not activeCollab. Read more about it here. We've been using activeCollab with 200MB files without any problems. If you can push it through the Apache and PHP activeCollab can handle it.
3. You cannot customize the system, rebrand it and than sell it like another product of course, but you can make customizations for your own use. Package includes full source code so you can change applications behavior, look and feel.
