Time report by user

This is not like super important, but I'm just wondering why is there not possible to view time report by users. Very often the contractors we hired involved in more than one project at any one time, having to go through every project in order tally the work hours does not make a lot of sense. Sometimes I like to see how many hours I have worked collectively in a week too.

Hi,
You can filter time by selected user(s) and members of company. I've attached a screenshot. In order to access this tool and create new reports you will need to have use_time_reports and manage_time_reports permissions (outlined on second screenshot).

Sweet! I didn't know I had to check the permissions under Role section, no wonder I couldn't find the Status tool as well!

There are a lot of new permissions in v1.1. We'll have one article that covers just that for existing and future users...

Is there a time records by project report option somewhere? That would help a lot with monthly invoicing instead of having to run one report in all the projects. If no, any tips on how we might mod the code to do this? Thanks!

Go to project, select Time tab and you'll see Reports button where you can run any of defined reports against that project only.

Yes, but is it possible to get all time grouped by project in one screen?

No, it is not at the moment. Only grouping currently available is by user and than you get all hours summed up.
