Related Tickets

When someone creates a new ticket, it would be nice if aC pop up some sort of box with possibly related tickets. We have a general project that most of our trouble tickets go into. So the archive of completed tickets is quite large. It's entirely possible that a user has a similar problem to another user that was solved months ago. When the new ticket got submitted, a list of archived tickets could be presented to the user in case this problem has already been solved before. If you also included open tickets, it would prevent duplicates from being entered (we get that too from time to time since our list of tickets is so long).
We have a small I.T. team but handle a large number of tickets. We don't categorize or tag any of the tickets so you wouldn't be able to relate them that way. The best way I could think of to relate them would be to do a loose comparison on the ticket names. Is this possible?

You mean something like a wiki or faq index where you can search for similar completed tickets?
If it was a wiki or faq then I'd have to create it myself. I essentially want to use my completed tickets as a knowledgebase. Plus I don't want to have to search for a related ticket before submitting it. I'm going to have to create a ticket anyway because it's a problem. But once I create the ticket, aC could show me a list of potential solutions based on similar ticket names. I could then look at those tickets and potentially complete my new ticket based on the info from one of them.
