File Storage
Page: 1
I have a ubuntu lamp system running activeCollab and I would like to attach an external usb2 SATA II drive to the system.
Is there a way to setup activeCollab to point to this ext drive (for uploaded file storage) for all user uploaded and stored files for all projects?
thnx

my main reason is we have many pics and pdf / word files we need to upload for each project with their sizes being very large at times. These stored files can over time take up almost 1TB of hd space...
we're hoping there's an easy solution to be able to add HD space as we need using something like JBOD - we have this TowerRaid system where we can plug in 4 1TB HDs and right now we have 1 drive installed with the ability to add up to 3TB more.
any ideas?

You can try by creating symbolic link to any folder on any mounted drive (including additional HDD). If you map /upload folder with any other folder this way activeCollab will never know the difference.
