How is New / Updated and Late / Today working in the dashboard.

No whether how many tickets/discussions/files delivered by the team, New / Updated keeps being empty. And late / today show tasks that are not related to me from all projects.

Is this problem happens only to your account or to every other account in the system?

At least two accounts have this problem. But I did ever see some new/udpate with root account. Maybe I just don't know how it is working.
Here is the situation & my understanding.
1. There are at least 10 projects working on at the same time. One is usually involved in mutilple projects. I would say at least 3-4.
2. One need to be able to get the tasks he is responsible or assigned. I know this can be done via "assignment". But it is strange that "callendar" doesn't work so.
3. From the dashboard, I expect to see late/today. But all those should be mine. (responsible or assigned)
4. I want to know what's new after my last visit, such as new/updated/commented discussion/file/pages/tickets. That is what I expect new/update does. Recent Activily (like log) is too detailed and useless in most time.

And I think task owner(responsible) and assignee should be two differnet fields. That makes it straightforward.

The bottom line is I don't want to miss something important in the projects, especially discussion & comments.

The new/update finally works after I was assigned to another project as team member (limited access). But another account still doesn' t work. This is definitely a bug.

User need to be member of a project for objects to show up in most of the views, New / Updated, Late / Today included. For projects you want to have shown on your dashboard you need to be added through People tab of that specific project.
Late / Today lists all late tasks or tasks scheduled for today on all active projects you have access to, not just the ones you are assigned to.
If you want to be notified about all activities use RSS from dashboard or overview pages of any project.

I am project lead or member of eight projects. No new / updated shown for me. One this is, I am automatically added to the new created projects. Does that make a difference?

Ok, than something is wrong there. We'll check it out and see to provide fix in one of the next releases.
