Our company upon our recommendation is currently using a separate tool to get document and design approval and find that markup tools are required to make this feature really effective. The tool we are using is conceptshare.
I realize that it goes FAR beyond the scope of just approving a document, but I just thought it may be helpful to see the direction this feature request can take.
Using Flash (AIR etc) and embed it inside of AC to merge the 2 would make a lot of sense (similar to Srcibd).
If no one beats us to it, I can see us develop that as a plugin or something. We have the developers to do it, just not the time right now (working on a massive data management tool that is in its second of 5, 3 month cycles). If we can help someone with writing the spec and user scenarios, we probably could find the time...

I'd be interested too. I think it it was priced right... you'd have a GREAT aC combo for creative companies. Sub $30 would be better I think. (since aC is such a huge 1 time chunk).

Hey willemn,
I tried ConceptShare - It's pretty cool. Adobe Acrobat does a lot of what this does, but I only have one client that has the pro version of that. I'm still in the trial version of this, but it is great with multipage documents. I have always hated those long instructions "The tenth page, second column, third paragraph, tenth line down change the word ... to..."
Thanks for the tip.

I use adobe acrobat also and it has worked great so far. It works with anyone that has the latest FREE adobe reader. I also you screen share. It is awesome.

I would be interested in this as well - I've used http://proofhq.com/ for some projects, it's a great tool but integrated right into ActiveCollab would be very good.
