Auto-assign tickets & milestones

Any way to force or auto-assign a particular user for every ticket or milestone created?
I want to be able to click on the dashboard link "Tasks I'm responsible for or involved in" and some have been falling through the cracks because I forgot to assign to myself.
Or, maybe there's a way to auto assign to the currently logged in user whenever a ticket is created. Other options?

I am having the same issue - I forget to assign myself to a ticket that I'm creating, and then never get notified of the updates.

That let me guess, the developer team is already working on that and/or it's almost done.
Because if it would only be on the roadmap, Ilija would say: We will check that, but I really cannot promise anything at the moment
