Just tried it (on-click-install-by-Dreamhost-for-ativeCollab) and it worked great. Now, how do I protect the /install/ path? Get rid of the install dir is OK?

a few notes / first impressions ... like how star causes bold

Actually, input is not activeCollabs "invention". It uses Textile, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Textile_(markup_language)

I think that's recommended. I didn't, cuz I wanted to snoop the files ... moved them to *cough* an undisclosed location.

Textile, yes ...
... I don't see the advantage of this. I mean, I can understand why a developer would find that an advantage, but ... really ...

Counting HTML that's what, 4 different markup schemes? Different forums, different wikis ... seems cruel.

I don't see how a stricly limited HTML would be a security risk, and it should be easy enough to implement. Bold, italics, anchor for links ...

HeyHo, just one voice groaning in the wilderness.

HTML would me WYSIWYG, WYSIWYG would mean trouble. You can use HTML with Textile.

Yes, delete the /install folder. You'll get the new one when you decide to upgrade :D

Easily HTML w/o WYSIWYG, just like Textile w/o ... <i> <b> and <a href=""> is all.

I've started seeing that in blogs. Right about the text box "Limited HTML allowed".

I'm sure you see my point.

cheers

p.s. I regret that, right after having installed ACollab I lost my internet access. So everything's on hold. All the best.

Hi, I discovered activeCollab through the Dreamhost one-click :) Install was very quick and easy. I like the functionality as I work with many not so large projects and can share data with co-workers.

Thank you very much! best regards, petter claesson. Stockholm, Sweden.

Dreamhost needs and update. They are installing an old version with one-click.
