We have two simple requests that can be really easy to setup in AC 2 :
Task in tickets (really important !)
This is a simple request but it can really be usefull, especially since the email integration is done for ac2 (Thnaks guys !). We need the single line field to be change as a normal multiline field. Sometimes task are heavy to detail and it's a pain with the single line field. (See mockup attached)
File list (less important)
If the file description in entered, is it possible to display it in first than the filename ?
#1: There are no plans to change from simple, single line text for task summary to the multi line, editor control. Tasks are designed to be simple steps and having only one line of text forces you to think small. If you need more than a single line of text to describe something, you should create a ticket instead.
#2: This is not something that is going to change also, but you can hack activecollab/application/modules/files/views/files/index.tpl and switch positions of these two values if you absolutely need. We still feel that filename (and thumbnail for images) are the things that transfer the most important information about the file.
