Order of pinned (favorite) projects

Ilija -- Is there anyway to change the order of the Pinned projects in the "Jump to Project" area? I am using the Access theme and it appears that Leon has changed the way the pinned projects are ordered in the Overview on the main page but the Jump to Project area is still ordered as you mentioned here something to do with timing. I think this presents a very difficult sort order for making finding projects quick... I'd really like to change it. An option in the main Admin or user Settings would be ideal but a hack would be fine too :)

Leon -- if you are watching, am I right about your implementation on Access? And if so... could you update the Jump to Project too :)

In one of the activeCollab 2 beta releases, we made it so both favorite projects on the dashboard and in jump to project dialog are ordered by name. Does that work for you?

That works perfectly for me --- I haven't upgraded to 2.0 yet on my main projects but I do have a test install. Thanks Ilija! I have started using the Pin feature much more and started to notice that it was hard to know where a project would show up in the list.

Yes, a couple of people reported this exact issue so we got it covered for activeCollab 2. Hope you'll like it when it gets stable and you upgrade your production system.

Hi Arkitekt,

In Access theme 'pinned' projects are only different style wise. The sort order is whatever was output from activeCollab and the more i think about it i don't think we can control the sort order of a list using only CSS (right?). So I can say comfortably that 'I didn't do it' :)

One thing I noticed is that 'pinned projects' is referred to as 'favourite projects' in aC 2.0+

@Ilija - just noticed that on project page (ie. domain.com/projects/26 ) in aC 2.0.2 beta, it is referred to as 'pin / unpin' in the options drop down button top right still.

You are correct, CSS is not used for ordering and theme can't control it.

Thanks, we'll have that covered.
