@elisso: Basecamp has its own limitations and quirks. Creating an accurate Gantt chart is not possible with those limitations. That's why we had to make a lot of assumptions. e.g. Basecamp does not allow you to set start / due dates for anything other than milestones.
Our activeCollab module solves that. We have start / due dates on all items, estimates with them, and hours logged against the items also reflect on the Gantt chart.
We have made many enhancements and bug fixes over the version at this URL, but it will still provide a good start to everyone who wants to know how it will be!
Planning module will be embedded within AC, and available via the top menu of AC (where you see Time / Projects icons).
We are close to completion. But are working on making our Reports module compatible with AC 2.1 right now! Will post updates about Planning module here!
I really like the planning module but it doesn't look very "activeCollabish". I hope you guys will tune it up a bit so it looks more integrated and works more integrated as well.
