Saved Project Templates?

Does activeCollab have the ability to save a predefined project template. I sell a service that is basically the same set of tasks for each client and I'd like to be able to just add the set of tasks/milestones to the client.

Yes, activeCollab does allow you to create project templates.

Here's what we follow:

Create a project group called "Project Templates".
Create a new project in this group.
Define all milestones, tickets, tasks etc.
Go to AC admin and select "Project Templates" as the template group for new projects.
Create a new project - on that screen, you should see a drop down with projects in the "Project Templates" group. Select the project you want to use as a template for this new project.
ActiveCollab will duplicate the project milestones, tickets, tasks, checklists and even adjust milestone dates.

BTW, it does not copy discussion or pages yet.

(secret note: we have worked out a hack that copies discussions and pages too ;-) will be releasing it soon)

We have included this fix with our hacks for copying pages and discussions (along with their file attachments) when you create a new project from template.
