Has anyone found a work around for version 2.3? It's a bummer that this doesn't work for anything higher than version 2.1, it looks like it will do exactly what I need.

We're using this with 2.3. Other than my Due Date issue mentioned above it is working OK.

Did you have to do anything special to install it? For some reason mine won't show up on the list of modules to install in the Admin section.

*Release Notes*

Minor upgrade by Apps Magnet over last release by Valdemar.

Enhancements:
+ Can send notifications for Tasks too now.
+ Configure whether to send notifications for Milestones, Tickets, Checklists or Tasks from Admin
+ Updated icons for the module
+ Tested with activeCollab version 2.3. Cleaned up things a bit.
+ Updated language files & email template

Awesome, I'm stoked to try this out! I did get the previous version running on 2.3, I had put a couple files in the wrong directory, and it cleared everything up.

@Sean: Are you still getting the due date issue? What version of PHP are you using?

@Thomas: Yes. We only did some minor fixes to the earlier version to get it working well with AC 2.3. The biggest change is ability to send notifications for due tasks and configuration options. We also updated the folder structure and readme file so it's easier to install the module.

We're using PHP 5.1, but I believe we are using module version 1.1. I'll grab the free download and see if that does the trick.

@appsMagnet Are you planning on implementing some of the previously requested features? We use aC for so many things in our company that we can't really use this module unless it can at least be configured on a per-user basis. I also like the idea of daily reminders for upcoming due dates. I would even like to see daily reminders for overdue items. That way you either get it done or readjust the due date to be more accurate.

Our vote would be for per-user settings. Enabling the Notifications module ended up blasting out a ton of notifications to users that didn't want them. So we need to have the ability to only turn them on for certain users.
