What I did with activeCollab

Completely changed the assignments module, added estimated hours to ticket, noted in attachment:

1) Assignment icon is routed straight into the new module. The "old" assignment reports can be viewed from "Custom Report"
2) Filter by Assignee, Responsible, Subscribed
3) Filter by statuses, see 6
4) Export to Excel
5) Ticket/Task and.. Bug! :)
6) Lots of different statuses.. I hate them however.
7) Estimate time - Actual time - Difference

I should mention that this module is a total rewrite of a module Fei Yan wrote for me for ac 1.x

This is impressive! We've been waiting for improvements to Assignments screen - hopefully in AC 3.0. I am sure these hacks can be useful to many. Do you plan to release it?

Well. The different ticket statuses are hacks to the core. But I definitely believe I can release all the rest as a module... Oh if I can find the time! :-)

I sure want to see other people mods.. and their creativity spread out on activeCollab.

Wow - nice work!!! Love that little 'bug' icon too, helps to quickly find those ticket types. I really hope enhancements like this make it to AC 3.0 too, or if you realeased a module ;)

Well, here is something I did today.

It charts time-records, and stacks on top of them the supposedly "missing time". Meaning, it calculates how many hours each person should have worked, and shows the difference. There's a "hours per day" setting for each person, and it will only count business days. I really dislike this paranoid and useless tactic, but the report is pretty :)

The bottom chart is time spent vs. time estimate for each ticket. Clicking the charts on different bars directs you to appropriate pages, ie. time sheets, ticket, etc.

I was looking for exactly the same improvements you did time ago on Assignments functionality.

Is there anyway you could release the code for your awesome time enhancement? We're needing exactly that here and unfortunately don't have the time to climb into the AC framework for it.
