I totally agree, some mor flexibility with the invoices would be great, so i give a +1 to the template generator (background + box positioning)

I've been searching around for methods on customizing the invoice templates a bit, and have to agree on this suggestions.

A place to add a custom project message at the top, a footer message (already there), company address, more control over company logo (no size restriction)...etc.

This is something that is really needed in my opinion. Thanks.

I am sorry to see that there are no more replies by admins.

I thougt to have found the almost perfect sollution with activeCollab but, as designing invoices is extremely imortant to my company, i don't think we will switch to activeCollab.

Guess the hours i put into learning about activeCollab are wasted.

I need this idea implemented, is there a module we can buy from anyone to add this functionality to invoice PDF ?

Hi Nick,

activeCollab team must be working very hard on improving invoice module for version 3.0. I don't know what they have in store, but I tend to think they will make it easier to customize the invoice output.

If not, one can build a module for that.

It would be nice to have some feedback on this issue from the staff at AC.

The poor customization possibilities regarding the invoices properly is the one and only reason to that our company not have changed to AC.

Xero Accounting system allows user to create .docx format invoice templates which they can then import in to the system and apply. See here;

I think this would be an awesome way to allow invoice design and the onus is completely on the user to get the fields right.

Hi Folks,

After 2 years, do you have this module ready and is there any upgrade available ?

I do also have problem with the Active Collab invoice module and its template. I am still using my old invoice system as a an alternative solution to have a full control on the invoice design. It double my work in terms of management of the company....
