Installation reported "success", but when I clicked on th elink to log-in--or when I go to the application root--I get the message:

"No input file specified."

And nothing else.

Anyone seen this before? I read all of the posts and have not seen this listed as well as peformed a keywork search of all of the forum posts.

Yikes. My mistake--that was quite the oversight. Here is my phpinfo() result:

Ilija: I removed phpinfo output.

Hi.

It seams that there is something wrong with your PHP configuration. I checked activeCollab today on PHP 5.0.4 and had no problems. Contact your hosting provider and ask if he can find the solution and fix your installation.

Okay, I can buy thta there is something wrong with my PHP config. I have been doing more research on the web an apparently this error can be caused with all sorts of wrong configurations.

As a favor, would someone please provide me the link to their phpinfo() page on a server where ActiveCollab is working? Then I can check the values of things like doc_root against my values and maybe have my ISP take a look.

TIA.

I think I may have found my problem, but unfortunately is a problem caused by a "fix" that I had to do.

During the install, on "Step 3" where it asks for "Absolute script URL:", if I leave the base URL of the app, then after I complete "Step 4", it returns me to "Step 3".

When I was first installing and it did this, I thought that I was making an error by not appending "/scripts" to the base URL. When I tried this, I was able to move beyond "Step 4".

But thien I noticed that--after a "successful" install--that when I went to the log-in page, that it was directing me to:

http://mgt.fastcheapweb.com/scripts/index.php

Notice the "/scripts" in the URL? Of course, there is no "index.php" file in the "/scripts" directory which explains the "No input file specified" error.

So obviously the "Absolute script URL:" cannot be "http://mgt.fastcheapweb.com/scripts/". But just as obviously, if I leave the "Absolute script URL:" to be "http://mgt.fastcheapweb.com/", then I stay in a loop during the install "Step 4" to "Step 3".

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Are you sure that when you use http://mgt.fastcheapweb.com/ you get in the loop? I see no reason for this kind of behavior.

If you confirm I might need you to contact me and give me your FTP access so I can check in the code what is happening.
