Hi. I am searching for a a good management system. I Used Wrike so far.
I want to switch. I have a question. I have a partner, we work together. I have my team if writers, designers etc, and he has his own team. We have a new project that we do together. So, I want my people from my team to be able to communicate with the other team, but only on the system management system. I dont want them to see each other emails. I want to be able to monitor everything. Is that possible with your system?

Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch. Sorry, in the current stable release (activeCollab 2.3.7, available as free hosted demo) it is not possible to hide contact details of users. That feature will be introduce in activeCollab 3 (currently in beta).

activeCollab 3 is available to current customers in form of beta release (first beta was released around new year, and the second one a couple of days ago). Stable release will be out when we stabilize it (there's no exact date set for the release).

@amitbtnew -- if you want to get started with the current version of activeCollab 2.3.7 which is already a great product in the meantime --- there are two options available for features similar to what you are looking for. One is called HidePeople from AppsMagnet http://www.appsmagnet.com

And the other is a product called Team Privacy, this is a product we developed --- http://www.activelabs.ca

When activeCollab 3 comes out it may be that these modules are not needed because in many areas they have now taken this into consideration and created ways to control this based on the user's role.

Either way you'll be covered now and in version 3, by the built in features or the 3rd party modules I mentioned.

Hope that helps!
