If you create a project as a user and dont add you as a user tothe project you cant see it.
Thats logical but is it sensible?
Maybe force the restriction that project creators must be project members. Would shave confusion down the line?

So, you add a project and you are not assigned to it because you are not marked as auto assign? Or?
If I remember, I made that when user is creating project he is added to it even it he is not on auto assign list.
Or I just misunderstood the problem.
