I've been using aC for a couple of weeks now and I'm starting to get ready to bring in additional users in my company but outside of my department. Some method to assign departments to users would be fantastic (we have something like 50 departments here on campus). When working with vendors it'd be nice to see that Joe Smith is in sales while Bob Jones is in graphic design.

I'd think the most flexible would be to allow assigning of departments per company/client and then selecting the department for each user in a company/client. That way I could click on company>department and see everyone in alumni relations who has access to aC, and from there see what they're supposed to be working on.
