Implement global search

it would help me to have a global search and not only per-project search. of course, there could be many search results, but though it makes sense to me.
I guess this will result in a permission problem if you serve many clients. Or is it possible to implement this only for owner company users?
ah okay. didnt know that. i use aC as a tool for managing my homework. sometimes i want to search project wide.

We are using ActiveCollab to track projects as I guess it is intended for. And we still require the ability to perform a global search.
Previous projects that are completed might need to be called up for reference information and there is no way to search for a specific project by a keyword.
Permissions should not really be a good reason not to implement this, it is a very basic requirement, to be able to search, and if a user does not have permission to access something, and the code is done well enough, then they will have 0 results or be advised they do not have permission to access that page.

I would really like to know if this will be a part of 1.0, as I didn't realize when I first started/selected activeCollab that this wasn't possible... and this is something we really need ...

Global search is functional in activeCollab 1.0.
