Hello everyone,
I work at a Data Center in the States and we use activecollab to manage our web development clients. I just wanted to let you know how much we like this project. I also want to thank Ilija Studen for all the work on aC. and we really like where the project is going. I am in the process of getting my company to donate to the project.
Thanks Again

Hi
I work at a small research lab for Bang & Olufsen in Denmark. We have a lot of projects running that needs some sort of project management (wasn't in place before I came along). I love Basecamp, but it's a showstopper with the remote hosting, since all of our stuff is highly confidential. Also the prospect of being able to tailor the system to our needs is something that we will be using.
I will look forward to if the Time Tracking becomes a reality in aC, since this really finished the loop in a sense. (Here are the things we want to do, here is what we actually did).
Thank a lot for the initiative,
Mathias

I'm a poet, freelance web developer, executive editor, and artistic director for a range of literature and education projects. (Imagine rolling that off the tongue at your next social function...)
As you can imagine, I use a range of tools to help me stay on top of all of the things I need to do - I currently use kGTD (in conjunction with iCal and mail.app) for my personal project/task overview/management, and I'm setting up aC to help me project manage most of my collaborative projects. I've got an install of aC on my own server, but I'm also introducing it to one of the companies I work with, and installing it on their server for a specific project.
Oh, and I'm based in London, UK.
Kudos n' props to Ilija and the aC fam.

I am one half of Pixelita Designs, LLC, a Houston, Texas (USA)-based web design shop specializing in WordPress-, Drupal-, and ExpressionEngine-based small business, personal and professional web sites. I had been using PHPCollab to manage my projects but the daunting layout of the project details and difficult navigation and separate Project Staging Area made it cumbersome for both me and my clients to use.
This is a much leaner, easier to set up and use program, and so far one client has taken it for a "test drive" and loves it.

I run a custom screen print shop in southern california (usa). We print shirts and hoodies for high school clubs mostly. I am looking into aC to work with our customers in going over their designs, garment and sizing information and any other concerns. aC is great because it provides written documentation of everything that was discussed, edited, and eventually agreed upon.
I did make a custom system to keep track of customers and their orders , written in php/mysql. But I'm looking to streamline everything into an online (product) site, with customer/order info, and as well, an order collaboration sytem(aC).
Even though I print shirts for a living, I have been passionately obsessed with coding for 3 years now. It's amazing how people are able to do this stuff. I am self taught, mostly from reading about code online. Even though I can do so much more now, I still am very new to all of this and theres so much to learn!
Great to see I'm not alone! Happy coding everyone!
P.S
my company site is here www.apsurd.com
still got a long way to go but its my prized posession! Hand coded in notepad++

Hi
I own a publishing company in Canada (Spire publishing, http://www.spirepublishing.com) and we're currently using basecamp for our author support system. With a growing number of authors this was getting expensive and activecollab came around just at the right time.
Our webhost, dreamhost, offers a one click install, which makes things really easy for us.

I'm an trainee Anaesthetist who has created a website for my other colleagues to collaborate on audit and research projects. I have a little HTML experience but haven't made a website other than this one for almost a decade. Ilija has made this easy to do. Thanks!

Hi,
I'm french, I'm an engineer working in an architecture company. I use AC to plan projects with all structural, fluid ... engineers. I also do 3D, com and network.
I'm happy with AC except that we cannot create subfolders witch is a nightmare for the kind of projects I work on (lot of files, sketches and images) even if I found a writing manner workaround. My other problem is that I cannot get the authorization to tweak my external account to make AC work with linked files and not storred database files.
I'm waiting a lot from this new version and I'm confident.
Cheers
