Hi there :)
I recently transferred to a new host, so I reinstalled aC and transferred my MySQL tables for it. Everything seems fine, except for this one problem:
When I've uploaded a file and click 'Edit' in order to upload a different file or change the file's description, upon completing the changes by hitting 'Edit file' at the bottom of the editing page, I'm taken to a blank page... and that's all that happens! Upon manually returning to the dashboard by typing in the URL it is apparent that no changes have occurred, so my editing has failed.
The address of the blank page is seemingly the same as that of the editing page, e.g. of the form:
http://www.mydomain.co.uk/rms/index.php?c=files&a=edit_file&id=2&active_project=3
Does anyone have any suggestions? This is most perplexing.

No error message is reported, sadly.
Additionally, no /cache/log.php exists! This is why I am so puzzled :(
It must be a problem in the database, since I've re-transferred aC to my site earlier today, but left the MySQL tables untouched.
Editing anything else works flawlessly, and I"ve encountered no other problems with the app whatsoever.
Would you be kind enough to inform me even if you have no idea what the problem is, since if I'm going to have to reinstall and manually re-add the data to rectify the problem, I'd like to do it a.s.a.p. to minimise my workload!

Ilija Studen:Files get updated, but you go to blank page? If that is the case than it is the problem in template, nothing major. Your data is safe :)
Sadly they don't:

Thanks for your guidance though :)

This is interesting - I reinstalled activeCollab into a completely different directory on my server, and using a completely new MySQL table with no old entries copied over, _and still the same problem occurs_ . So there must be some kind of problem in the code after all, not in my database.
The steps I follow to produce the error are:
(1) Go to a folder 'Scripts' in the files section.
(2) Upload a text file (.txt)
(3) Write a brief description for the file
(4) Complete the upload
(5) Click 'Edit' in the box containing the File link and description
(6) Make _any_ changes (eg. change the description, or try to re-upload the file)
(7) Hit the 'Edit file' button at the bottom of the page to apply the changes
...and that's when it just takes me to a blank page with the same URL, and when I manually return to the
interface and travel to 'files' again, none of my editing has been applied.
Im on PHP5, MySQL 4.1.21-standard, Apache 1.3.36 .
So... any other ideas?

Ilija Studen:OK, I've followed your instructions and script works as expected.
Open config/conifg.php and set DEBUG to true. That should give you an error message in case of blank page if it exists.
Hero, thank you.
I get the following error message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method ProjectFile::getFilePath() in /home/komodo/public_html/rms/application/models/project_files/ProjectFile.class.php on line 567
