I'm looking to install a second copy of aC for my side work. The hosting company tells me that "You can create innodb using "Type = InnoDB" at end of your "create table" statement."

Is this something that's in there by default? I haven't looked at the code yet, I was hoping for a quick yes/no or "here's where you put it" from the community.

I have activeCollab installed and use it a lot! However I've never been able to find a user manual for it, have I just been looking in the wrong place?

Hi Ilija,

I am new to ac, but so far so good. However, upload file size i limited to 2mb by default. How can I increase tihs?

You can modify this in your php.ini file :)

Two options in php.ini influence the max upload filesize:

- upload_max_filesize
- post_max_size

There is also max_allowed_packet configuration if you are using MySQL to store file that should be increased.

I'm preparing to update my 2 installs and I'm looking at phpmyadmin...are there any specific settings I need to be sure to use in order to have a successful db backup for this app?

hello, how can I delete messages that apear in the client dashboard?
For example:
Task 'Set up project management software' deleted
Today, 14:08 | deleted by ...

Too much info can be overwhelming.

You can't without going to the database and deleting it directly from there (not recommended).
