Nick:That's great; I've been using Task Lists as a basic bug tracker, but this will make life so much easier!
If everything turns out right we'll be using activeCollab as activeCollab bug tracker pretty soon :D

IMHO, it would become a perfect bug tracker and version manager with little improvement :
* move a task from a task list to another ;
* optionnally make visible a unique identifier (with say 4 digits) for each task (to refer rapidly a task).

You can do that already (within a project).

We'll see about this. Now when I worked with bugtracking software for several months I know how important task ID-s are.

Why not just use the unique ID which aC gives to each task upon creation? Maybe just add this when displaying each task:
#1: Do X task
I think adding a "type" option to each task would be great. That way you could sort/search tasks by what type they are -- i.e. "bugs" vs "review" vs "design" vs "meeting" vs "phone call". Also helpful if/when time tracking/expenses are added, so you can assign different time/cost attributes to different task types. Task types could be configured per-project or per-installation by an admin under the Configuration options.
