How can I eliminate information about things added or deleted in the Dasboard/Overview? Does this clear after a time?

You wish to remove activity log from the dashboard or you want the script not to log anything?

Just clean up the contents of application_logs table. You can filter it by project id if you wish to clear log for specific project. You can also drop all the records to clear the log completely.

activeCollab is currently using activity log just to print the data on dashboard and overview page but it can be used for other purposes in the future.

so is there a need to implement a "clean up log for a project "-feature in one of the next releases? Of course only for project admins, or is it okay with clearing tables in the DB manually for the moment?

what do you think

edit: i was thinking about that, and came to the solution, that a "hide this" function like in the "welcome to your newly created account" dialog would be enough. A simple Ajax powered hide-log/show log function.

Otherwise people will start complain that their logs got lost irretrievable, by clicking that for mistake.
