Where are my files stored?

Where are they being uploaded to? I am using the database for file management.

In the database. Check file_repo and file_repo attributes tables.
If you select Filesystem storage files will be stored inside /upload folder.
There is currently no way to move files between storage engines automatically.

Would it be possible to create a script that can do that? (From the database to the filesystem?)
My database has gotten quite large because of files, and the server gets really slow when loading pages (ie. 4-9 seconds). The DB is now over 100MB and I'd like to move the files over to a filesystem... But i'm not good with php or mysql. Help would be appreciated. :)
