I'm a newcomer from Digg, this is my first post.

Thought I'd put in a request for this one: I tried to upload an avatar only to be told after uploading that .bmp files are not valid. So I converted it to a .jpg and received a message after uploading that the pic had to be no larger than 50x50.

So here is request #1:

State which file types are valid on the Update Avatar screen.

Request #2:

It was a pain to shrink the avatar. Ideally, the system would shrink whatever pic I had down to appropriate size. If this is not feasible, then please state on the Update Avatar screen that avatars must be no larger than 50x50.

Not a problem. That is pretty common function and it will be added/

IMHO pics should be 90x90, maybe people/team members will upload ther photos...

AutoResize is good idea, but then server must support GD/IM.

Ideal thing is to check on install is GD/IM availabile...
