open source backpack
Page: 1
Hi there,
I've just started using activeCollab recently and it's awesome! Many thanks to all involved.
Only thing I'm really missing is a detailed tasks list. I like to keep lots of notes under my tasks with urls, subtasks, colour coding etc - I think this is the kind of functionality that backpack offers?
Is there any decent open source 'copies' of backpack? To have something like that integrated with activeCollab would be fantastic! I don't think it's much more than a wiki really.

There is a posting on this forum about being able to add comments and files to your task:

I just installed it. It only took 5 minutes and it works like a charm.

That looks great, will add it in. Will this be added to the next release anyway?
I found my notetaking app of choice - google notebook. To somehow integrate this with activecollab would be great (it allows shared notebooks). Perhaps have a google notebook optionally attached to each project or something.
