I am getting this fatal error on the very first step of the install. I downloaded and then uploaded to my server and I am at the www.domain.com/activecollab/public/install/ screen. I click the NEXT button and I get:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function uniqid() in /home/bawkskc/public_html/activecollab/environment/functions/files.php on line 15

I am willing to bet I have something that is pretty easy to fix and will get burned at the stake for my n3wbness but any help would be appreciated!!

Just as an update, I think I am officially getting the run-around here. Here was their response:

What you are describing sounds like a software issue. Have you received any kind of error message or anything server related? If so we can help you.

Unfortunately, we do not support 3rd party scripts. You may want to look at the developer page for the application you are using as well as google for pages having the same issue.

Ok this is FINALLY resolved. My hosting provider ended up updating their PHP and that seemed to fix the problem. Anyhow, I created a mysql db, got through all of that. Now I am on the screen where it asks me to set a Admin log/pass and my email and name of the company.

I put all that in and it seems to just reset the screen like it did not like everything I entered.
