Hi, I would like to know if non-administrator users can create new projects somehow? I would like them to be able to manage permissions for their own projects. Many thanks, Mike

Also, I would like for users to be notified either by email or as a priority message on their dashboard when they are allocated a task. How do I do that? Thanks a lot.

It is also not supported by activeCollab directly but source code is available so you could create a hack that would send emails on task creation / update.

Sorry for another question, but I'm not great at PHP or SQL.
How might I change the code to automatically sign up new users to a project with no rights (so they can submit forms only) by default when the account is created?
Thanks. Mike

Hi Mike,
Members of client companies cannot be set by auto-assignment, only members of your company (you have auto-assign flag in user profile).
When you create a project you will be redirected to People page so you can give proper permissions to anyone.
