Hello.

I used some Japanese words as tags of a message.
Saving messages with Japanese tags is O.K.
But when I clicked the link of Japanese tags and accessed to "/index.php?c=tag&a=project_tag&tag=日本語&active_project=1", an error message below was displayed.
----------------
Fatal error: Call to a member function getObjectsByTag() on a non-object in /home/arohama/application/controllers/TagController.class.php on line 38
----------------
The version of aC is 0.6 and it's running on the Fedora Core 4, MySQL4.1.2, PHP5.0.4, Apache2.0.54.
This problem occurs only on Internet Explorer. When I use Firefox, tags works pretty well.
I think most of aC developers and users don't use Japanese, so it may be a bother. Struggling with Japanese problem is very difficult for English speakers, I think, so I'll also try to figure out the cause of this problem, but now I'm busy with exams in Univesity :-(

I'm not good at English, so excuse my poor English. Bye.

Hi Haya,

The problem is that Internet Explorer does not support Unicode in URLs if I'm correct. Or it supports it but that support was removed because of phishing attacks that exploited it. I remmember reading something about that but I'm not 100% sure.

This is a bug and it will be fixed. We just need to encode the Unicode tags and thats it.

Thanks for the report.
