Hi Folks,

I'm a bit frustrated here. After my 1and1 (Germany) server doesn't eat aC because Plesk messes up the system and leaves no choice but to use PHP4 I wanted to use my local server in the office to get it running.

Everything works out fine but when I point my browser towards the directory I get an empty browser with following source in it:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<HTML><HEAD>
<META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></HEAD>
<BODY></BODY></HTML>

Having read a lot of according papers in this (btw. excellent!) forum and followed all which was mentioned here so far (changing rights in directories etc.) I'm a bit at the end of the road here.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what might me the problem here? If you can't determine the problem, please let me know which further info you need to figure out what's wrong here.

So much this far:

- latest aC version (as of download from 9/01/07)
- openSuSE 10.2 running as a VM
- LAMPP (latest)

This is what the cache/log.php says:
#############################################
<?php die(); ?>

And basically the same is mentioned when debugging is on:
#############################################

Anyone got a clue?

All the best and thanks in advance
