This morning I removed the .htaccess restrictions on the parent folder to my activecollab installation.

Now I can't login to activecollab, though I can email myself a new password, so something's working...

"Failed to log you in. Please check your login data and try again"

Any ideas?

If I need to reinstall, how can I keep my db intact?

I don't think reinstall would help - you would just waste time. Something in server configuration is changed and that is what broke the system. Easiest solution would be to revert the system to previous configuration. In the mean time check if cookies are properly set...

I cannot login at all using any browser, even after 2 password changes. ?????????????
