I am very interrested in switching to 1.0, but I am wondering about localization.

My understanding is, the source will be opened for the Lite version not the commercial one. Thing is, I'll probably need the commercial one. My clients speak french.

I can handle the translation but I have to make sure : will 1.0 ship with translations and if not how can we manage translations for commercial versions ?

Is it so obvious that it doesn't need an answer ?
I looked but found no info...

I sure guess this has been thought out, given aC 0.7.1 had a localization system... I do hope that's also true of the new build : that's a big weakness of BaseCamp and the likes for us non-english speaking european ! aC would score points wilth and internationalized system...

Ok I ended up self-answering this :P reading the thread about 1.0

For those who wonder, here it is :

Ilija Studen:
Thanks for the offer to help. activeCollab 1.0 has a built in localization system, but it is not completed and I really can't promise you that it will be available in v1.0. It is on our roadmap for upcoming releases so it's just a matter of time when it will be included, but at this point we have few tasks that have higher priority.

FYI, I am also willing and able to help with the french translation when the time comes
