activeCollab vs Basecamp comparison
Page: 1
I would love to see a detailed feature list comparison between these two programs.
The company I work for uses a $99/month account with Basecamp, and with the exception of not being able to host the script on our server, and taking care of backups etc, we are very satisfied with BQ, even though it is quite an expensive solution for a non-profit. With 36 plus users and volunteers collaborating on BQ every day from across the world, it has become an indispensable tool for our non-profit.
Maybe someone can start posting a detailed feature list of the upcoming aC. I am looking forward to see how aC will compare, and especially at what price.

Well you could have a look at this... http://www.activecollab.com/blog/50/pricing-details-updated/

This price list doesn't really let us see what these features actually do and how they actually work. Since there won't be a free version or even a hosted free trial it seems we have no way of finding out whether we like the new ActiveCollab without forking over the dollars. The "small biz" version's feature list really doesn't seem that different than the free 0.7.1 feature list so if you're just going by that it seems silly to spend the money. I'm assuming the way it works is much better though, but don't want to go by faith :) Will there at least be some screencasts or something?
