Does the install allow for an automatic upgrade from the 0.7.1 version, with all existing information kept in tact?

Installation does not allow you automatic upgrade. First you need to install version 1.0 and then you can enable activecollab 0.7x importer in your admin>modules section. When you do so, you will have new tool in admin>tools section that provides you easy way of importing data from activecollab 0.7.

If you need more assistance please let us know.

Hi there,

I'm looking to upgrade, but there doesn't seem to be anything under admin>modules for Import. Nor under tools.

Just got email from Ilija. Importer isn't quite read for the corporate version yet (not sure about small biz version). Hopefully soon!

Is there an ETA?

He didn't give me one, but did say he'd email when it was ready. I guess I should have waited until things were officially announced on the blog.

By all indications it has been officially released already. I'm perplexed as to why there's not something on the blog about the launch, but that seems a minor oddity compared to the fact that the main site has all the workings for purchasing and demoing the application. I don't understand all this talk about waiting for an announcement in the blog. If it wasn't ready, it wouldn't have been released, presumably.

Or else it's a way to iron out the last bugs / missing features using early adopters as kind of a testing team ?

As soon as the Import module is available, I'll buy my license :)

Any ETA when that would be ?

By the end of the week for sure. Problem is database storage engine and we are making some final test with it.

We'll post a new entry on the blog when it gets ready.

Thank you
