Workflow
Page: 1
In the past, I have used several other project management tools and none had a solution to this; that's why I bought aC, but seems to me this still doesn't solve the problem. Maybe I'm missing something and someone can point me to the right direction.
I run a web design studio and have several web designers working with me. To assign task to my designers, I use Tickets. Say I need the mockup for home page of xxx.com done up, I would create a ticket and title it "Visual for home page of xxx.com", I may enter the description, then have it assigned to one of the designer.
He would pick that up and do his work. Once done, he would upload the JPG version as attachment in the comment. I would reply from there if I find any need for fine tuning.
Once it's completed, I would have to forward the visual to client for sign off, and here's the show-stopper -- I have to download the attachment and send it by email to client.
By right this should not be much of a problem, until when I have a dozen of visuals to be sent to client for sign off. I have to go to each ticket page, download the visuals, then send them out in separate email...
I'm just thinking: wouldn't it be so wonderful if I can...
1. ... have a function in ticket page that lets me forward the attachment to client; but he should not be able to see the previous discussions I had with my designer, because we don't fancy using professional English among ourselves when we work.
2. ... have all attachments stored in same Files section (like what Basecamp does), at least, when I have to download several visuals, I can still find them in one place...
3. ... even straightforward: store attachments in non-secure folder, so that I can just forward the permanent link to client for viewing
I have been in this business for 3 years, what I'm saying is probably what other PM are facing too. So I hope someone can shed some light in this and let's find the better ways to get things done.

I don't want to hijack the original post here but I think my question relates.
How do I move a task from one list to another? I do it all the time in 0.7.1 but the 1.0 demo does not seem to give me the option anywhere.
Using tasks generally seems much more cumbersome than the previous version.
Compare...
Create new list in 0.7.1: name, description, milestone, private Y/N, tags, up to 6 tasks with who each is assigned to.
I can add a new task, including assignee, to the list without leaving the view of the list so far, and I can see other task lists (linked, so only a click away) on the side, and I can reorder the tasks - not drag & drop but can be done.
Create new list in 1.0: summary, description, milestone, tags > submit
> new task > summary, priority, due, assign for 1 task only > submit; **repeat for each task!
The Quick Add checklist lets me enter 3 tasks in one screen, but I can't assign them to people in the same screen so that'll be one at a time later, and I can't add to an existing checklist, only create a new one.
