[solved| How do I remove the original admin account from projects?

Any time I create a new project, I am automatically added as a member and I cannot remove myself. I don't want to be on all the projects, how do I remove myself?
if you create a new (admin) user uncheck the box labeled:
Auto assign to new projects?: *

This is set to "no" but I can't remember if it was set to yes when I created the projects. Even with this option set to no, I can't remove myself from projects. Do I need to delete the projects and re-add them?
I just tested adding a new project... even with the "autoo assign to new project" setting at "no," I was still auto-added to the new project and cannot remove myself, even if another member (also an admin) is added to the project.

Main administrator (root) is always assigned to the project. That user have access to everything.
If you'd don't like that don't use root account but create new administrator for yourself and use that one.
