Hi, I'm using aC 0.7 and having trouble with sending email (both using the defaults, and the SMTP settings)

I know at least part of my issue is that I may need to modify my php.ini file. I've never done that before, so I'm wondering if someone can tell me what specificly I need to add or change. I'm nervous to just go ahead and start trying things as I don't want to screw up other things I have hosted on this account.
